REM expanded nationwide to manage Midtown by Brookside at WKU. Midtown was completed in the fall of 2015 with the 2nd phase to be ready in the fall of 2017.

Midtown residents get the best of both worlds. Located next door to the Alumni Center and a short walk from WKU's campus, Midtown offers both the buzz of downtown living and convenience to campus. Each resident has a large bedroom and bathroom that open up to a common area with luxury flooring and a flat screen television. The kitchen, filled with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, is fully equipped with everything you might need. Residents are able to spend their free time in the courtyard with the bbq pits, at the rooftop pool, fitness center, or taking advantage of dining at the restaurant, High Tops, which is conveniently located under the pool and fitness center.
